PRINCIPAL

Vimal is an experienced projects and construction lawyer, specialising in large infrastructure projects.  He also has commercial and legal experience working with customers and suppliers on large scale technology projects.
Vimal has provided legal advice both as an external lawyer and in house counsel on projects in New Zealand, UK, the Middle East, and Asia/Pacific.  His project experience includes: rail infrastructure, aluminium smelter and alumina refinery development, power plants and electricity transmission, transport, infrastructure and utilities for master planned communities, port infrastructure, gas, water and wastewater,  technology, telecommunications and solid waste projects. He has extensive experience in the negotiation, drafting, administration, and risk management of a wide range of construction and procurement contracts employing different contracting methodologies, pricing structures, and risk allocations. Drawing on his international experience, Vimal is known for his pragmatic and commercially minded legal advice.
